How are frames measured?

Frames are always measured  from the inside (rabbet) of the frame. That is the size of a piece of glass that will fit in the frame. The actual size of  the frame  is 1/8" larger than indicated to allow room around the glass, mats, image etc. The actual rabbet size of an 8" x 10 " frame is 8 1/8" x 10 1/8".

How are mats measured?       

Mats are measured at the outside. They are not measured by the size of the cutout (hole). When determining what size mat you need remember that the mat must cover the artwork or photograph. If your artwork is 8 x 10 you need a mat with an opening of at least 1/8" smaller. 

Are your mats acid free?

All of the mats that we sell are buffered to make them 100% acid neutral.  Our regular matboard, available in standard colors, offers consistent color for basic framing and presentation needs. We also offer the complete Crescent and Bainbridge lines of matboard in our volume framing section.

Do you offer a quantity discount?

When purchasing directly through the websight, buy $200 or more in total and  receive 5% off when you check out, purchase $500 or more and and receive 10% off of  the total.

What is your return policy?

If  you wish to return an order or part of an order please contact us within 30 days of receipt of the order. If we have made an error in manufacturing your order (standard or custom) we will replace it free of charge or refund your money. If we have not made an error, there is a 15% restocking charge for standard products. We are not able to allow returns of custom made products where we have not made an error, since they would not be able to be reused.

Shipping Charges and Times

Ground UPS & USPS (priority Mail)
        Orders will normally ship within two or three working days. The arrival time to you will depend on your distance from Ventura, CA. The following is the freight rate for GROUND ups.

 Due to UPS & USPS (Mail) size and rate regulations, shipments with items with an outside size larger than 16 x 20 have an additional  $8.00 freight charge. 

If any additional charges apply due to oversize or heavier items, or the weight/size of the packages, you will be notified by email, phone or both.

    The arrival time will depend on your distance from Ventura, CA.  
            Normal transit times:
                       West            1 - 3 working days
                       Mid West     3 - 4 working days
                       East             4 - 5 working days
